Proceed to Gold Reef City – a gold mine ruins, with the appearance reserved the look of hundred years of history, and the equipment for the former days of gold rush. After lunch, take a ride of the 360 degrees view Aerial Cable Way up the Table Mountain (weather dependent). Enjoy a bird view of the entire Mother City, and shower in the warmth of the Sunset, which brings you the golden ocean scenery, from the top of the one seventh Wonder of Nature.

One of the 7 wonders of nature, the unique Table Mountain were naturally risen with Cape of Good Hope from the bottom of the ocean. The flat-topped mountain has withstood six million years of erosion and hosts the richest, yet smallest floral kingdom on earth with over 1,470 floral species and boasts numerous rare and endangered species. Its unique peak reaches 1,086 m above sea level.

Visit Church Square in Stellenbosch is renowned for its abundance of quaint art galleries, charming restaurants, and bustling coffee shops.

After lunch, visit one of the oldest Cape Dutch farms – Babylonstoren, it has a fruit and vegetable garden of beauty and great botanical diversity, fine food and wine, which evokes a sense of wellbeing. Every aspect of Babylonstoren is led by the ever-changing tapestry and botanical diversity of the garden. Then procced to the Giraffe House Wildlife Awareness centre, they provide easy access to some of Africa’s wonderful wildlife and bird species.

Proceed to Hermanus, which is situated on the stunning South Coast of the Western Cape (90mins from Cape Town) and is famous for its incredible viewings of Southern Right Whales. Enjoy the experience of a lifetime, while the tour focuses on searching and spending time with the whales, the tour can include sightings of  seals, dolphins and a variety of marine birds including the African penguin.

After the lunch, visit Cape Agulhas. The southernmost tip of Africa where the Indian and Atlantic Oceans officially meet. It is located in the Overberg region of the Western Cape, South Africa.

After breakfast at the hotel. Proceed to Mossel Bay, approximately 5 hours’ drive.

Mossel Bay is closely linked to maritime activities with its lighthouse being first lit in 1864.  One of the most famous landmarks in Mossel Bay is the Post Office Tree, where ancient seafarers on their way to the east left their letters for home in a shoe.

After lunch, visit the first recorded contact between the Khoekhoen and European seafarers happened. It is here where the Portuguese seafarer Bartolomeu Dias, the first European who managed to sail around the southern tip of Africa, landed in 1488. Dias’s journey not only opened the sea route between Europe and Asia but would eventually lead to the colonization of southern Africa.

The spectacular Cango Caves are a subterranean wonderland of magnificent stalactite and stalagmite rock formations that attract thousands of visitors annually. After lunch, proceed to Knysna. Nestled between the imposing Outeniqua Mountains and the Indian Ocean and surrounded by world-renowned forests, Knysna offers a wealth of activities for visitors. The beautiful lagoon and more than eight beaches provide opportunities to swim, surf, canoe, yacht, jet-ski, boat, fish, walk on soft sand and take ferry rides.

After breakfast at the hotel. Head to Tsitsikamma National Park. Much of the indigenous forest in this eastern part of the Garden Route falls within the Tsitsikamma National Park. The park is not only breath-taking haven for indigenous flora and fauna but also for marine life. A marine conservation belt forms part of the park, stretching five and a half kilometres out into the ocean.

After lunch, free for leisure. Enjoy activities at Storms River. The mouth of the Storms River is surrounded by Tsitsikamma National Park. This is where the Otter Trail and Dolphin Trail start as well as numerous smaller hikes. Other activities include crossing the mouth via a suspension bridge, dining at the restaurant overlooking this beautiful site, and swimming and snorkelling in the sea.
